The Motorola Edge 40 has a general score of 77.2, which is a little bit better than LG G3's 76.4 score. Both phones in our current comparison use Android OS (operating system), but the Motorola Edge 40 has the newer 13 version and LG G3 has Android 5.0. The Motorola Edge 40 construction is much newer and thinner, but also heavier than LG G3.
LG G3 features a much better display than Motorola Edge 40, because although it has way less brightness and a little smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and more pixels per inch of display. Motorola Edge 40 has a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than LG G3, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity.
LG G3 features a very superior processing unit than Motorola Edge 40, because although it has lesser processing cores (but faster) and a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a graphics processor. Motorola Edge 40 has a way better camera than LG G3, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Motorola Edge 40 also has a back camera with lot more mega pixels, a way larger aperture to take better low light photography and a much bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
Motorola Edge 40 features a superior battery lifetime than LG G3, because it has 4400mAh of battery capacity.
