Comparison review

The LG G8X ThinQ is slightly better than Motorola Edge 40, having a score of 82.7 against 77.2. Although it's the best cellphone in this comparison review, the LG G8X ThinQ construction is notably older, heavier and just a little thicker than Motorola Edge 40. Both of these phones have Android OS (Operating System), but LG G8X ThinQ has the previous 10 version while Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13 version.

LG G8X ThinQ features a much better processing power than Motorola Edge 40, although it has less RAM, they both have the same number of cores. Motorola Edge 40 features a bit more vivid screen than LG G8X ThinQ, because it has a quite larger display, a slightly higher 1080 x 2400px resolution and a just a little more pixels per inch of screen.

Motorola Edge 40 has a better camera than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has lower 30 frames per second video frame rates, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Motorola Edge 40 also counts with a lot larger camera aperture to capture better low-light images, a much more mega pixels camera in the back and a lot bigger camera sensor shooting much better quality videos and photographs.

LG G8X ThinQ features a much greater memory for games and applications than Motorola Edge 40, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the LG G8X ThinQ also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 1,95 TB. The Motorola Edge 40 has a bit longer battery performance than LG G8X ThinQ, because it has a 10% greater battery size.
