The LG Q70 is a little bit better than Motorola Edge 40, with a general score of 77.9 against 77.2. Both phones we are comparing here use Android operating system, but the LG Q70 has an older 10 version and Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13 version. The LG Q70 is a better device than the Motorola Edge 40, we must note that it's also a lot older, somewhat heavier and a little bit thicker.
The LG Q70 has a very superior CPU than Motorola Edge 40, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. Motorola Edge 40 features a sharper display than LG Q70, because it has a little higher pixels density, a little larger screen and a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400px.
The Motorola Edge 40 shoots much better photographs and videos than LG Q70, and although they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same video frame rates, the Motorola Edge 40 also has a way larger aperture to take better photography in low light environments, a much higher 50 mega pixels resolution camera and a way bigger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
LG Q70 features much more storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Motorola Edge 40, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. Motorola Edge 40 has a little better battery lifetime than LG Q70, because it has a 10% greater battery capacity.
