LG Q8 has a score of 77.2, which is a little bit better than Motorola Edge 40's 77.2 score. Both of these phones include Android OS (operating system), but the LG Q8 has a more recent 7.0 Nougat version and Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13, counting with some nice extra features. Although LG Q8 is a lot older and just a little thicker than the Motorola Edge 40, it's design is still lighter.

The LG Q8 has a bit more vivid screen than Motorola Edge 40, because although it has way darker screen and a really smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per inch in the screen and a better 1440 x 2560px resolution. The LG Q8 features a way better hardware performance than Motorola Edge 40, although it has a lower number of cores (although faster) and lesser RAM memory.

LG Q8 has a way bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Motorola Edge 40, because although it has only 32 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD extension slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. The Motorola Edge 40 features a superior battery performance than LG Q8, because it has a 4400mAh battery capacity.

The Motorola Edge 40 shoots much clearer photographs and videos than LG Q8, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Motorola Edge 40 also has a way more MP camera, a way larger aperture to take better low light images and video and a way larger back camera sensor providing a lot better image quality.
