Comparison review
LG Velvet has a global score of 87.1, which is better than the Motorola Edge 40's 77.2 overall score. The LG Velvet design is extremely older, just a little thicker and a little bit heavier than Motorola Edge 40. The Motorola Edge 40 counts with a bit sharper display than LG Velvet, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a little greater display pixel density.
LG Velvet counts with a lot bigger storage for apps and games than Motorola Edge 40, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the LG Velvet also has an external SD slot that admits up to 1,95 TB. The LG Velvet features a much better hardware performance than Motorola Edge 40, although it has 2 GB lesser RAM memory, they both have 8 processing cores.
Motorola Edge 40 counts with a bit superior battery life than LG Velvet, because it has a 2% larger battery size. The Motorola Edge 40 captures clearer photographs and videos than LG Velvet, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Motorola Edge 40 also has a way bigger aperture to capture better low light photography and videos, a back facing camera with a better 50 mega-pixels resolution and a much larger back camera sensor.
