Motorola edge has a global score of 89.6, which is much better than the Motorola Edge 40's 77.2 overall score. Both phones in our current comparison use Android OS (Operating System), but Motorola edge has the previous 10 version while Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13. Even being the best phone in our current comparison, Motorola edge's construction is notably older, thicker and somewhat heavier than the Motorola Edge 40.

The Motorola edge counts with a really superior processing power than Motorola Edge 40, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor. The Motorola Edge 40 has a more vivid display than Motorola edge, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a bit greater pixel amount in each screen inch and a slightly better 1080 x 2400 resolution.

Motorola edge counts with a way bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Motorola Edge 40, because it has more internal storage capacity and an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 1000 GB. Motorola edge takes clearer pictures and videos than Motorola Edge 40, because although it has a way tinier aperture which is not so good for low light photography and videos and a tinier camera sensor, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Motorola edge also counts with a way higher 64 MP resolution camera.

The Motorola edge counts with a bit longer battery lifetime than Motorola Edge 40, because it has a 4500mAh battery size.
