The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra has a global score of 80.9, which is a little bit better than Motorola Edge 40's score of 77.2. These phones include Android operating system, but the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra has the older 12 version and Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13 version. Despite being the best phone in this comparison review, it must be told that it is also just a little bit thicker and somewhat heavier.
Motorola Edge 30 Ultra counts with a display that's just as good as the display in Motorola Edge 40, because although the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra has a bit worse number of pixels per inch of display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, it also counts with a quite brighter screen and a bit bigger display.
Motorola Edge 30 Ultra's storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos is just as good as Motorola Edge 40's one, both have equal 128 GB internal storage. The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra's processor is very similar to Motorola Edge 40's processing unit, and although the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra has a lower number of MHz cores, they both have the same RAM amount.
Motorola Edge 30 Ultra captures much better photos and videos than Motorola Edge 40, because although it has a much smaller diafragm aperture which is not so good for capturing pictures in low-light situations, it also counts with a way larger sensor, a way more mega pixels back-facing camera and a much better 7680x4320 video resolution.
Motorola Edge 30 Ultra has just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Motorola Edge 40, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
