Comparison review

The Moto G 5G Plus is just a bit better than Motorola Edge 40, getting an 82.6 score against 77.2. The Moto G 5G Plus design is older, somewhat heavier and somewhat thicker than Motorola Edge 40. Moto G 5G Plus has a lot better processing power than Motorola Edge 40, although it has 4 GB less RAM, they both have the same number of cores.

The Motorola Edge 40 features just a bit better display than Moto G 5G Plus, although it has a just a bit worse pixels density, a quite smaller display and a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2400. The Moto G 5G Plus has a much greater memory to store more games and applications than Motorola Edge 40, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with an external memory slot that admits up to 1000 GB.

Moto G 5G Plus counts with a bit longer battery duration than Motorola Edge 40, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity instead of 4400mAh. Motorola Edge 40 counts with just a bit better camera than Motorola Moto G 5G Plus, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Motorola Edge 40 also has a bigger aperture to capture better photos in low light situations, a camera in the back with a higher resolution and a way bigger back camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
