Moto G Stylus 5G (2021) is slightly better than Motorola Edge 40, with an 82.1 score against 77.2. Both phones in this review have Android OS, but Moto G Stylus 5G (2021) has the previous 11 version and Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13. Even being the best phone we are comparing here, we must highlight that it is also an older, somewhat thicker and way heavier phone.
Moto G Stylus 5G (2021) has a really superior processing power than Motorola Edge 40, although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. The Motorola Edge 40 counts with a sharper screen than Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G (2021), because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have the same 1080 x 2400 resolution, the Motorola Edge 40 also counts with a little bit better count of pixels in each display inch.
The Moto G Stylus 5G (2021) counts with a much greater memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Motorola Edge 40, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Moto G Stylus 5G (2021) also has a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 1 TB.
Motorola Edge 40 captures much clearer pictures and videos than Moto G Stylus 5G (2021), because it has a much larger camera aperture for better low light photos, a back facing camera with more mega-pixels and a much better video resolution. Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G (2021) has a bit superior battery performance than Motorola Edge 40, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 4400mAh.
