Motorola Edge 40 is a little bit better than the Moto G7 Plus, having a 77.2 score against 76.1. Motorola Edge 40's design is noticeably newer, a little bit lighter and just a little bit thinner than the Moto G7 Plus. These phones include Android OS (Operating System), but the Motorola Edge 40 has 13 version while Moto G7 Plus has Android 10, so it provides a couple additional features and performance optimizations.

Moto G7 Plus has a much faster processing unit than Motorola Edge 40, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
