Motorola Moto G8 Plus is a little bit better than the Motorola Edge 40, with a overall score of 77.6 against 77.2. Despite being the best in this comparison review, we must note that it's also a way older, heavier and thicker device. Moto G8 Plus features a way better hardware performance than Motorola Edge 40, although it has 4 GB lesser RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
Motorola Edge 40 counts with a brighter display than Motorola Moto G8 Plus, because it has a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400px, a bit larger screen and a just a bit higher pixels amount in each screen inch. Motorola Moto G8 Plus counts with a greater storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Motorola Edge 40, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory slot that admits up to 512 GB.
