Comparison review

The Moto Z3 is slightly better than the Motorola Edge 40, getting a score of 77.6 against 77.2. Both phones we are comparing here have Android operating system, but Moto Z3 has a newer 9.0 Pie version and Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13. Moto Z3 is an extremely older cellphone than the Motorola Edge 40, but it is just a bit thinner and a bit lighter anyway.

Motorola Edge 40 has a little bit better display than Moto Z3, because it has a little bit bigger screen, a little bit higher 1080 x 2400 resolution and a little bit better screen pixel density. Motorola Moto Z3 features a much better performing processing unit than Motorola Edge 40, although it has lesser RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.

Moto Z3 counts with much more storage to store more apps and games than Motorola Edge 40, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. Motorola Edge 40 features a superior battery lifetime than Moto Z3, because it has a 4400mAh battery capacity.

The Motorola Edge 40 counts with a greater camera than Moto Z3, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Motorola Edge 40 also has a camera in the back with a lot better 50 mega-pixels resolution, a way larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a way bigger aperture to capture better photos and videos in poorly lited situations.
