The Moto Z3 is slightly better than the Motorola Edge 40, getting a score of 77.6 against 77.2. Both phones we are comparing here have Android operating system, but Moto Z3 has a newer 9.0 Pie version and Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13. Motorola Edge 40 features a superior battery lifetime than Moto Z3, because it has a 4400mAh battery capacity.
The Motorola Edge 40 counts with a greater camera than Moto Z3, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Motorola Edge 40 also has a camera in the back with a lot better 50 mega-pixels resolution, a way larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a way bigger aperture to capture better photos and videos in poorly lited situations.
