The Motorola Edge 40 has a score of 77.2, which is just a bit better than OnePlus 8 UW's 75.9 general score. Both phones we compare here come with Android operating system, but Motorola Edge 40 has the newer 13 version and OnePlus 8 UW has Android 10, so it provides the user some nice extra features. Motorola Edge 40's design is incredibly newer, a little lighter and a little bit thinner than the OnePlus 8 UW.
The OnePlus 8 UW has a little more vivid screen than Motorola Edge 40, although it has less brightness, they both have a display of the same size, an equal 1080 x 2400 resolution and a higher pixels number in each inch of display. The OnePlus 8 UW features a much faster CPU than Motorola Edge 40. They have the same RAM memory amount and a Octa-Core CPU.
The Motorola Edge 40 and the OnePlus 8 UW feature incredibly similar storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos, both of them have equal internal memory. Motorola Edge 40 features a bit better battery lifetime than OnePlus 8 UW, because it has a 2% bigger battery capacity. OnePlus 8 UW counts with a bit better camera than Motorola Edge 40, although it has a lot smaller aperture which is not so good for low-light captures and video, a much tinier sensor taking less light and dull colors, a lesser MP resolution back facing camera and a lower 3840x2160 video resolution.
