Samsung Galaxy A35 5G is slightly better than the Motorola Edge 40, having a overall score of 79.4 against 77.2. These phones use Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy A35 5G has 14 version while Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13, giving you some additional features and a performance increase. Even though Samsung Galaxy A35 5G is newer than the Motorola Edge 40, it is noticeably heavier and a bit thicker.

Motorola Edge 40 has just a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy A35 5G, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Motorola Edge 40 also has more RAM memory. Motorola Edge 40 counts with a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy A35 5G, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a really brighter display, a slightly higher 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and a little greater pixel density.

The Samsung Galaxy A35 5G's storage capacity to install games and applications is just as good as the Motorola Edge 40 one, both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory. The Motorola Edge 40 shoots slightly better pictures and videos than Galaxy A35 5G, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, a 50 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Motorola Edge 40 also has a way bigger sensor which provides a much better image and video quality and a lot larger aperture.

Galaxy A35 5G has a little better battery life than Motorola Edge 40, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity instead of 4400mAh.
