Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy A51 is much better than the Motorola Edge 40, having a score of 85.5 against 77.2. Both phones we compare here work with Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy A51 has older 11 version and Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13. Although it's the best in our current comparison, Samsung Galaxy A51 is an extremely older, just a little thicker and just a little heavier cellphone than Motorola Edge 40.

Samsung Galaxy A51 has a lot better performance than Motorola Edge 40, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. Motorola Edge 40 has a bit sharper display than Galaxy A51. Both of them have a screen with the same size, the same display density and exactly the same 1080 x 2400px resolution.

Motorola Edge 40 captures just a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy A51, and although they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Motorola Edge 40 also has a much bigger back camera sensor which offers a much higher photo and video quality, a better 50 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera and a lot larger diafragm aperture.

The Galaxy A51 counts with a much better storage for games and applications than Motorola Edge 40, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Galaxy A51 also has a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 512 GB. The Motorola Edge 40 features a bit longer battery lifetime than Galaxy A51, because it has a 4400mAh battery capacity against 4000mAh.
