Samsung Galaxy A52 5G has a score of 91.3, which is better than the Motorola Edge 40's global score of 77.2. Both phones in this review work with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G has 12 version while Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13. The Samsung Galaxy A52 5G design is noticeably older, a little thicker and heavier than the Motorola Edge 40.

Galaxy A52 5G features an extremely better processing unit than Motorola Edge 40, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores. Motorola Edge 40 features a bit sharper display than Galaxy A52 5G. Both have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 2400, a screen with the same size and a greater quantity of pixels per display inch.

Galaxy A52 5G takes just a bit better videos and photos than Motorola Edge 40, because although it has a smaller back camera sensor and a way smaller aperture which is not good for capturing photos and/or video in low-light environments, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same video quality, the Galaxy A52 5G also counts with a camera with much more megapixels.
