The Motorola Edge 40 has a score of 77.2, which is a little bit better than Galaxy J8's score of 76.7. The Motorola Edge 40 body is newer, a bit lighter and just a little thinner than the Galaxy J8. Both of these devices come with Android OS, but Motorola Edge 40 has a more recent 13 version and Galaxy J8 has Android 10, so it counts with a couple nice extra features.

The Motorola Edge 40 has a much better display than Galaxy J8, because it has a bit larger display, a way higher 1080 x 2400 resolution and a higher screen density.
