The Samsung Galaxy S10 5G is much better than the Motorola Edge 40, with a 93.6 score against 77.2. Even though the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G is better than the Motorola Edge 40, we must highlight that it is also a notably older, a little bit thicker and heavier phone. Both phones in this comparison review come with Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy S10 5G has the older 11 version while Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13 version.

The Galaxy S10 5G counts with a much powerful processor than Motorola Edge 40. Both have 8 cores and the same RAM amount. The Motorola Edge 40 counts with a little sharper screen than Galaxy S10 5G, although it has a lot worse 1080 x 2400 resolution, a bit less pixels per inch in the screen and a quite smaller screen.

Motorola Edge 40 takes much clearer photographs and videos than Galaxy S10 5G, because although it has lower 30 frames per second video frame rates, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Motorola Edge 40 also counts with a lot better resolution back-facing camera, a much larger sensor which offers a lot better image and video quality and a bigger diafragm aperture.
