Galaxy S7 edge is a little bit better than the Motorola Edge 40, getting a overall score of 78.1 against 77.2. The Motorola Edge 40 counts with a bit sharper screen than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a little worse quantity of pixels per display inch and a bit lower 1080 x 2400 resolution, it also counts with a larger screen. Samsung Galaxy S7 edge features a much greater processing power than Motorola Edge 40, although it has less RAM memory and 4 less cpu cores (although faster).
Motorola Edge 40 has a quite bigger memory to store more games and applications than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory. Motorola Edge 40 counts with improved battery life than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because it has 4400mAh of battery capacity.
Motorola Edge 40 shoots greater photos and videos than Galaxy S7 edge, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Motorola Edge 40 also has a larger aperture, a much better resolution back-facing camera and a lot bigger camera sensor which gives a way better image and video quality.
