Comparison review

Sony Xperia 10 III is slightly better than the Motorola Edge 40, getting an 83.7 score against 77.2. These devices have Android OS (operating system), but the Sony Xperia 10 III has an older 11 version and Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13 version. Despite being the best phone in our current comparison, the Sony Xperia 10 III is an older, just a bit heavier and a little bit thicker phone than Motorola Edge 40.

Motorola Edge 40 features a bit better looking screen than Xperia 10 III, because although it has a little less pixels per display inch and a little bit lower 1080 x 2400 resolution, it also counts with a little bit larger display. Sony Xperia 10 III counts with a much better hardware performance than Motorola Edge 40, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 processing cores.

Motorola Edge 40 has a lot better camera than Xperia 10 III, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Motorola Edge 40 also has a back camera with a much better 50 MP resolution, a lot bigger sensor capturing lot better quality pictures and a lot larger camera aperture to capture better low-light captures and videos.

The Xperia 10 III has a way bigger memory to install applications and games than Motorola Edge 40, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Xperia 10 III also has an external memory card slot that allows up to 1 TB. Sony Xperia 10 III has just a bit better battery lifetime than Motorola Edge 40, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity against 4400mAh.
