Xperia 5 II has a global score of 87.2, which is better than the Motorola Edge 40's 77.2 score. Although the Xperia 5 II is extremely older and just a bit thicker than Motorola Edge 40, it's construction is still just a little bit lighter. Motorola Edge 40 counts with a little sharper display than Sony Xperia 5 II, because although it has a just a bit worse pixel amount per display inch and a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2400, it also counts with a little bit bigger screen.

Xperia 5 II counts with a very superior hardware performance than Motorola Edge 40. Both of them have the same RAM memory amount and the same number of cores.
