Comparison review

Sony Xperia PRO is a lot better than the Motorola Edge 40, having a 94.3 score against 77.2. Even being the best phone we are comparing here, the Sony Xperia PRO design is a lot older, much thicker and notably heavier than Motorola Edge 40. These devices use Android operating system, but the Sony Xperia PRO has 10 version and Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13.

The Xperia PRO features a bit more vivid display than Motorola Edge 40, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Xperia PRO also has a lot higher resolution of 1644 x 3840 and a much better number of pixels per inch of screen. The Sony Xperia PRO counts with a much better storage for games and applications than Motorola Edge 40, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 1 TB and 384 GB more internal storage.

Xperia PRO features a much better performing processing unit than Motorola Edge 40. Both of them have the same RAM amount and 8 cores. Motorola Edge 40 features just a little better battery life than Xperia PRO, because it has a 4400mAh battery capacity instead of 4000mAh. Motorola Edge 40 captures much clearer pictures and videos than Xperia PRO, because although it has worse 30 fps video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Motorola Edge 40 also counts with a larger back-facing camera sensor, a back camera with a much higher 50 MP resolution and a bigger camera aperture.
