The Xperia PRO-I is a lot better than Motorola Edge 40, getting a 96.3 score against 77.2. Xperia PRO-I is a better cellphone than the Motorola Edge 40, it must be told that it is also an older, thicker and much heavier cellphone. Both devices in our current comparison use Android operating system, but the Xperia PRO-I has 11 version while Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13 version.
Xperia PRO-I has a really superior performance than Motorola Edge 40, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Xperia PRO-I also has a larger amount of RAM. Xperia PRO-I has a bit better display than Motorola Edge 40, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Xperia PRO-I also has way more pixels per inch in the display and a way better resolution of 1644 x 3840px.
Motorola Edge 40 shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Sony Xperia PRO-I, because although it has slower video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Motorola Edge 40 also counts with a way higher 50 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera, a way bigger back camera sensor providing a way higher image quality and a lot bigger camera aperture.
Sony Xperia PRO-I counts with much more storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Motorola Edge 40, because it has more internal memory capacity and a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 1 TB. The Xperia PRO-I counts with a bit longer battery lifetime than Motorola Edge 40, because it has a 2% more battery capacity.
