Sony Xperia XA2 Plus is a little bit better than the Motorola Edge 40, having a global score of 78.6 against 77.2. Despite being the best cellphone in our current comparison, the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus design is much older, heavier and a lot thicker than Motorola Edge 40. These devices use Android OS (Operating System), but the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus has 8.0 Oreo version while Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13 version, offering a couple additional features and performance optimizations.
The Motorola Edge 40 features just a bit better screen than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, because it has a little higher 1080 x 2400 resolution, a just a bit higher screen pixels density, a little bit bigger display and way more brightness. Sony Xperia XA2 Plus features a way better performance than Motorola Edge 40, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
