The Xperia XZ Premium has a general score of 79.8, which is just a bit better than the Motorola Edge 40's 77.2 overall score. Despite being the best we are comparing, Xperia XZ Premium is a incredibly older, somewhat heavier and just a little thicker cellphone than Motorola Edge 40. The Sony Xperia XZ Premium has a brighter screen than Motorola Edge 40, because although it has way less brightness and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a lot better resolution of 2160 x 3840 and a lot more pixels per inch in the display.

The Xperia XZ Premium has a really superior hardware performance than Motorola Edge 40, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. The Motorola Edge 40 captures much clearer videos and photos than Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Motorola Edge 40 also has a camera in the back with way more MP, a much bigger sensor providing a way higher image quality and a much bigger camera aperture.
