The Motorola Edge 40 has an overall score of 77.2, which is slightly better than Xiaomi 12T Pro's 76.9 overall score. Both phones in this review include Android OS, but the Motorola Edge 40 has the newer 13 version and Xiaomi 12T Pro has Android 12, so it gives some nice extra features. Motorola Edge 40's construction is lighter and thinner than the Xiaomi 12T Pro, even when they were released only a few months apart.
Xiaomi 12T Pro and Motorola Edge 40 feature really similar processors, they have a Octa-Core CPU and 8 GB of RAM. Motorola Edge 40 has a more vivid display than Xiaomi 12T Pro, although it has a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2400px, a little smaller screen and a bit less pixels per inch in the display.
Xiaomi 12T Pro has a bit better camera than Motorola Edge 40, because although it has a smaller aperture, it also counts with a back-facing camera with way more megapixels and a way bigger camera sensor taking lot higher quality videos and pictures. Xiaomi 12T Pro and Motorola Edge 40 have incredibly similar memory capacity for games and applications, both of them have exactly the same internal memory.
Xiaomi 12T Pro has a little better battery lifetime than Motorola Edge 40, because it has a 14% more battery size.
