Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro is just a bit better than the Motorola Edge 40, having a global score of 82.7 against 77.2. Although it's the best phone in our current comparison, Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro's construction is incredibly older, thicker and heavier than Motorola Edge 40. Both of these phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro has older 10 version and Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13.
The Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro features a very superior hardware performance than Motorola Edge 40, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores. The Motorola Edge 40 has a little bit better display than Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro, because it has a just a little better display density, a little bit larger screen, a bit higher 1080 x 2400 resolution and a way brighter display.
Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro shoots just a bit better photographs and videos than Motorola Edge 40, although it has a lot smaller camera sensor taking lot lower quality photos, a worse (4K) video quality, a back camera with less megapixels and a lot smaller camera aperture which is worse for shooting photographs or video in low-light situations.
The Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro's storage capacity for apps and games is very similar to Motorola Edge 40's one, both of them have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity. Motorola Edge 40 counts with just a little better battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro, because it has a 10% bigger battery capacity.
