The Motorola Edge 40 is a bit better than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, getting a 77.2 score against 76. Motorola Edge 40 is a a little heavier cellphone than the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, but they are equally thin.
Xiaomi Mi Note 2 features a very superior hardware performance than Motorola Edge 40, although it has a lower number of cores and a smaller amount of RAM. The Motorola Edge 40 takes a lot better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same video frame rates, the Motorola Edge 40 also has a lot more megapixels back-facing camera, a much bigger camera aperture to take better captures and video in low-light environments and a much bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
Motorola Edge 40 features just a bit longer battery duration than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because it has an 8% greater battery capacity.
