Comparison review
Asus ROG Phone 8 is a little bit better than Motorola Edge 50 Plus (2024), having a score of 79.5 against 78.9. Both devices in this review come with the same Android 14 OS (operating system), so both of them should offer very similar OS features. Asus ROG Phone 8 counts with a much more vibrant screen than Motorola Edge 50 Plus (2024), because although it has a just a bit inferior pixels count per display inch, and they both have exactly the same 1080 x 2400 resolution, the Asus ROG Phone 8 also counts with a little larger screen.
The Motorola Edge 50 Plus (2024) and the Asus ROG Phone 8 feature similar memory for applications, games, photos and videos, they have the same internal memory. The Asus ROG Phone 8's processor is just as good as Motorola Edge 50 Plus (2024)'s processor, both of them have 8 processing cores and the same RAM memory amount.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 features a much better camera than Motorola Edge 50 Plus (2024), although it has lower video frame rate, they both have the same video resolution and a 50 mega-pixels back facing camera.
