Comparison review
Xperia 1 III has a general score of 93.3, which is better than the Motorola Edge 50 Plus (2024)'s 78.9 global score. These phones come with Android operating system, but the Xperia 1 III has the older 11 version and Motorola Edge 50 Plus (2024) has Android 14. Sony Xperia 1 III has a way better looking display than Motorola Edge 50 Plus (2024), because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot greater number of pixels per inch in the screen and a much better 1644 x 3840px resolution.
Xperia 1 III has a very superior processing power than Motorola Edge 50 Plus (2024). Both have 8 cpu cores and a 12 GB RAM memory. The Motorola Edge 50 Plus (2024) shoots a bit better photographs and videos than Xperia 1 III, because it has a much higher video resolution and a back-facing camera with way more mega pixels.
The Sony Xperia 1 III has a way bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Motorola Edge 50 Plus (2024), and although they both have the same internal memory, the Sony Xperia 1 III also has a SD card slot that admits up to 1 TB. Motorola Edge 50 Plus (2024) has just a little bit longer battery duration than Sony Xperia 1 III, because it has a 2 percent more battery capacity.
