The Sony Xperia 1 VI has a score of 83.2, which is a little bit better than Motorola Edge 50 Plus (2024)'s 78.9 overall score. Both phones in this review have the same Android 14 OS. Xperia 1 VI has a better screen than Motorola Edge 50 Plus (2024), because it has a little bit larger display, a much higher 1644 x 3840px resolution and a lot higher pixel density.
Xperia 1 VI features a superior memory to install games and applications than Motorola Edge 50 Plus (2024), and although they both have equal 256 GB internal memory, the Xperia 1 VI also has a SD card slot that allows up to 1 TB. Motorola Edge 50 Plus (2024) and Sony Xperia 1 VI count with incredibly similar CPUs, both have the same number of cores and a 12 GB RAM.
Xperia 1 VI takes much better photographs and videos than Motorola Edge 50 Plus (2024), although it has a much lower video resolution and a lesser MP resolution back camera.
