Motorola Edge 50 Pro has a global score of 86.3, which is a little bit better than the Asus ZenFone 8's 83 score. The Motorola Edge 50 Pro design is way newer and just a little thinner than Asus ZenFone 8's, but it's also just a little bit heavier. These phones include Android operating system, but the Motorola Edge 50 Pro has a newer 14 version while Asus ZenFone 8 has Android 11 version, so it provides a couple nice extra features and increased performance.
Asus ZenFone 8 counts with a very superior performance than Motorola Edge 50 Pro, although it has lesser RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. Motorola Edge 50 Pro has just a bit better looking display than Asus ZenFone 8, because although it has a little worse display pixels density, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1080 x 2400, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro also counts with a quite bigger screen and way more display brightness.
The Motorola Edge 50 Pro counts with a much better storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Asus ZenFone 8, because it has 512 GB internal storage. The Asus ZenFone 8 features a little bit better camera than Motorola Edge 50 Pro, because although it has a lot smaller diafragm aperture and a smaller back camera sensor capturing less light and washed colors, it also counts with a camera with a lot higher resolution and a way better 7680x4320 video resolution.
The Motorola Edge 50 Pro counts with a bit better battery duration than Asus ZenFone 8, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
