Comparison review
Huawei P40 has a global score of 86.4, which is slightly better than the Motorola Edge 50 Pro's global score of 86.3. The Huawei P40 is a older and just a bit thicker phone than the Motorola Edge 50 Pro, but Huawei was able to make it a little lighter anyway. Both phones in this comparison review use Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei P40 has 10 version while Motorola Edge 50 Pro has Android 14 version.
Huawei P40 counts with an extremely better processing unit than Motorola Edge 50 Pro, although it has less RAM, they both have the same number of cores. The Motorola Edge 50 Pro counts with a more vivid display than Huawei P40, because although it has a little less pixels per inch of display, it also counts with a quite better 1080 x 2400 resolution and a bit larger screen.
Huawei P40 captures slightly better photos and videos than Motorola Edge 50 Pro, because although it has a lot tinier camera aperture which is not recommended for capturing pictures and videos in low light situations, and they both have the same resolution back-facing camera and the same video definition, the Huawei P40 also counts with a bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing higher quality videos and pictures and higher video frame rates.
Motorola Edge 50 Pro features a very superior memory capacity for games and applications than Huawei P40, because it has 384 GB more internal storage. Motorola Edge 50 Pro features a little better battery duration than Huawei P40, because it has an 18% larger battery capacity.
