Comparison review
The Motorola Edge 50 Pro has a general score of 86.3, which is better than the LG Q8's global score of 77.2. Both devices in this review have Android OS, but the Motorola Edge 50 Pro has an older 14 version while LG Q8 has Android 7.0 Nougat. Even though the Motorola Edge 50 Pro is noticeably newer than the LG Q8, it is a little bit thicker and incredibly heavier.
The Motorola Edge 50 Pro features a bit sharper display than LG Q8, because although it has a bit worse 1080 x 2400 resolution and a way worse number of pixels per inch of display, it also counts with a lot brighter display and a bigger screen. The Motorola Edge 50 Pro counts with a way bigger storage for apps and games than LG Q8, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory capacity.
LG Q8 counts with a way better processing power than Motorola Edge 50 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory and 4 less processing cores. The Motorola Edge 50 Pro counts with a much longer battery performance than LG Q8, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh. The Motorola Edge 50 Pro takes much better videos and photos than LG Q8, and although they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same video frame rate, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro also has a much bigger camera aperture to capture better low-light photography, a lot larger sensor capturing lot higher quality photographs and a much more mega-pixels camera in the back.
