Comparison review
The Motorola Edge 50 Pro is better than Motorola Edge 40, getting an 86.3 score against 77.2. Motorola Edge 50 Pro's construction is newer, but somewhat heavier and a bit thicker than Motorola Edge 40. Both of these phones use Android OS (operating system), but the Motorola Edge 50 Pro has a newer 14 version while Motorola Edge 40 has Android 13 version, so it provides you a couple nice extra features.
Motorola Edge 40 features a processing unit that's very similar to the CPU in Motorola Edge 50 Pro, and although the Motorola Edge 40 has 4 GB lesser RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
