Motorola Edge 50 Pro is a little bit better than the Motorola Moto G 5G, with an 86.3 score against 81.5. The Motorola Edge 50 Pro is a way newer phone, and it is also somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner than the Motorola Moto G 5G. Both devices in this review work with Android OS (operating system), but Motorola Edge 50 Pro has a newer 14 version while Motorola Moto G 5G has Android 10 version, so it gives you some extra features and performance optimizations.

Motorola Moto G 5G counts with a much more powerful processor than Motorola Edge 50 Pro, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. The Motorola Edge 50 Pro has a better display than Motorola Moto G 5G. Both of them have a screen with the same size, exactly the same 1080 x 2400 resolution and the same screen pixel density.

Motorola Edge 50 Pro has a superior storage to install applications and games than Moto G 5G, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory. The Motorola Edge 50 Pro takes just a bit better pictures and videos than Moto G 5G, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro also has a better 50 MP resolution camera in the back and a bigger camera aperture.

The Motorola Moto G 5G counts with just a little better battery duration than Motorola Edge 50 Pro, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 4500mAh.
