The Motorola Edge 50 Pro has an overall score of 86.3, which is much better than Galaxy Alpha's score of 76.3. Even being the best we compare here, Motorola Edge 50 Pro is a way heavier and somewhat thicker cellphone than Galaxy Alpha. Both phones in this comparison review work with Android OS (Operating System), but Motorola Edge 50 Pro has the previous 14 version while Galaxy Alpha has Android 4.4.4 version.

Samsung Galaxy Alpha counts with a much powerful processor than Motorola Edge 50 Pro, because although it has lesser processing cores (but faster) and a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with an additional graphics processing unit. The Motorola Edge 50 Pro counts with a sharper screen than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a way better resolution of 1080 x 2400, more pixels per inch in the display and a lot larger screen.

The Motorola Edge 50 Pro has a much bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy Alpha, because it has 480 GB more internal memory. Motorola Edge 50 Pro captures much clearer videos and photos than Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro also has a way bigger diafragm aperture and a much higher resolution camera in the back.

The Motorola Edge 50 Pro features a superior battery duration than Galaxy Alpha, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 1860mAh.
