Motorola Edge 50 Pro has a global score of 86.3, which is just a bit better than the Xperia XA2 Plus's 78.6 global score. Motorola Edge 50 Pro's body is incredibly newer, a bit lighter and thinner than the Xperia XA2 Plus. Both devices in this comparison review use Android OS (operating system), but the Motorola Edge 50 Pro has older 14 version while Xperia XA2 Plus has Android 8.0 Oreo.

Motorola Edge 50 Pro features a bit sharper display than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, because although it has a just a little worse count of pixels per inch of display, it also counts with a little higher 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, a bit bigger screen and way more brightness. Sony Xperia XA2 Plus counts with a much better performing CPU than Motorola Edge 50 Pro, although it has 6 GB lesser RAM memory, they both have 8 cores.
