Motorola Edge 50 Pro is slightly better than Xiaomi 14T, getting an 86.3 score against 83.7. Both of these devices use the same Android 14 operating system. Although Motorola Edge 50 Pro and the Xiaomi 14T were released only a few months apart, the Motorola Edge 50 Pro body is a bit lighter but also just a bit thicker.
The Xiaomi 14T's processor is just as good as Motorola Edge 50 Pro's processor, both have the same number of cores and 12 GB of RAM. Xiaomi 14T features a better looking screen than Motorola Edge 50 Pro, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Xiaomi 14T also has a little bit greater pixels quantity per inch of screen, a little higher 1220 x 2712 pixels resolution and much more brightness.
The Motorola Edge 50 Pro counts with a much greater memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi 14T, because it has 512 GB internal memory capacity. The Xiaomi 14T has just a bit longer battery life than Motorola Edge 50 Pro, because it has an 11% bigger battery capacity. Xiaomi 14T shoots a little bit better photos and videos than Motorola Edge 50 Pro, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for capturing photographs or video in poorly lited situations and a tinier sensor capturing worse quality videos and images, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a back-facing camera with a 50 megapixels resolution, the Xiaomi 14T also counts with faster 60 fps video frame rates.
