The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra has a global score of 87.1, which is just a bit better than Motorola Moto G9 Plus's 80.5 global score. The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra body is noticeably newer, lighter and somewhat thinner than Motorola Moto G9 Plus. Both of these phones work with Android operating system, but the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra has newer 14 version and Motorola Moto G9 Plus has Android 10 version, giving a couple additional features.

Motorola Edge 50 Ultra features an incredibly better screen than Motorola Moto G9 Plus, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have the same resolution of 1080 x 2400px, the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch in the display. Motorola Edge 50 Ultra features much more memory to store more apps and games than Moto G9 Plus, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 384 GB more internal memory capacity.

The Motorola Moto G9 Plus has a much faster processing unit than Motorola Edge 50 Ultra, although it has 8 GB lesser RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processor. Moto G9 Plus has a bit superior battery performance than Motorola Edge 50 Ultra, because it has an 11 percent bigger battery capacity. The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra shoots just a bit better pictures and videos than Moto G9 Plus, because although it has a way lower resolution back camera and a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, it also counts with a bigger camera aperture and a way larger sensor capturing much better quality videos and photographs.
