Xperia 1 III counts with a much more vibrant display than Motorola Edge 60 Pro, although it has a quite smaller screen.
The Xperia 1 III features a very superior hardware performance than Motorola Edge 60 Pro, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia 1 III also has 4 GB more RAM. The Motorola Edge 60 Pro features a bit better camera than Sony Xperia 1 III, because although it has lower 30 fps video frame rates and a tinier diafragm aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Motorola Edge 60 Pro also counts with a larger sensor shooting higher quality videos and photographs and a back-facing camera with a lot higher 50 MP resolution.
Xperia 1 III features a superior storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Motorola Edge 60 Pro, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Xperia 1 III also has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 1 TB.
