Motorola edge has a global score of 89.6, which is a bit better than the Asus ZenFone 8's 83 overall score. Although it's the best in our current comparison, it must be told that it is also older, just a little bit thicker and somewhat heavier. Both of these devices work with Android OS, but the Motorola edge has the previous 10 version while Asus ZenFone 8 has Android 11 version.
The Asus ZenFone 8 features a sharper screen than Motorola edge, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly higher 1080 x 2400 resolution and a just a bit higher count of pixels per inch of display. The Motorola edge counts with much more storage capacity to install games and applications than Asus ZenFone 8, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 1000 GB and 256 GB internal memory capacity.
Asus ZenFone 8 features a bit faster processor than Motorola edge. Both have a 6 GB RAM and the same number of cores. The Asus ZenFone 8 shoots clearer videos and photos than Motorola edge, and although they both have a F1.8 aperture, a 64 megapixels resolution camera and a 0.59 inches back-facing camera sensor, the Asus ZenFone 8 also has a way better video quality.
The Motorola edge counts with a little better battery lifetime than Asus ZenFone 8, because it has a 4500mAh battery size.
