Motorola edge is much better than HTC One M9, with an 89.6 score against 77.7. Both devices in this review use Android OS, but the Motorola edge has the newer 10 version and HTC One M9 has Android 5.0 version. The Motorola edge construction is way newer and a little bit thinner, but also somewhat heavier than the HTC One M9.

HTC One M9 counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Motorola edge, because although it has 3 GB less RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the HTC One M9 also counts with a GPU and a 64 bits processing unit. The HTC One M9 counts with a better looking screen than Motorola edge, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a way smaller display, it also counts with a bit more pixels per inch in the screen.

Motorola edge counts with a lot bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than HTC One M9, because it has an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 1000 GB and 224 GB more internal memory capacity. The Motorola edge counts with a really longer battery duration than HTC One M9, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 2840mAh.

The Motorola edge captures much clearer videos and photos than HTC One M9, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same video frame rate, the Motorola edge also has a way higher resolution camera in the back, a larger aperture and a much larger sensor.

Although Motorola edge is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the HTC One M9, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the HTC One M9. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy HTC One M9, giving up a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
