Comparison review
The Motorola edge is better than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, having an 89.6 score against 78.7. Even though the Motorola edge is notably newer than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, it's thicker and somewhat heavier. These devices come with Android OS, but the Motorola edge has older 10 version while Huawei Mate 9 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a processor that is just as good as the processing unit in Motorola edge, they have a 6 GB RAM memory and the same number of cores. Huawei Mate 9 Pro features just a bit better screen than Motorola edge, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2560px and a higher number of pixels per screen inch.
Motorola edge counts with a lot bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 1000 GB and 256 GB internal memory. The Motorola edge counts with a bit longer battery life than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
The Motorola edge shoots much better videos and photos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same video frame rates, the Motorola edge also has a way larger camera sensor shooting way better quality photos, a back-facing camera with lot more MP and a larger camera aperture to take better photos in poorly lited environments.
