Motorola edge is a bit better than Huawei Mate X, having a global score of 89.6 against 89.4. Even when the Motorola edge and Huawei Mate X were released only a few months apart, the Motorola edge is incredibly lighter and thinner. Both of these phones use Android OS, but the Motorola edge has older 10 version while Huawei Mate X has Android 9.0 Pie.
The Huawei Mate X features a bit superior processor than Motorola edge, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Huawei Mate X also has a greater amount of RAM. Huawei Mate X features a bit sharper screen than Motorola edge, because it has a bit greater pixels density, a way better 2200 x 2480 resolution and a bigger display.
Motorola edge has a little bit better storage to store more games and applications than Huawei Mate X, because although it has only 256 GB internal storage, it also counts with an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 1000 GB. Motorola edge captures way better photographs and videos than Huawei Mate X, and although they both have a F1.8 camera aperture and a 0.59 inches sensor, the Motorola edge also has a camera with a much better resolution.
The Huawei Mate X has a battery life that is just as good as the Motorola edge one.
