The Motorola edge is much better than the Huawei Nova 9, having a score of 89.6 against 81. Despite being the best in this review, Motorola edge's design is older, somewhat thicker and just a little bit heavier than Huawei Nova 9. Both of these phones come with Android OS, but the Motorola edge has the previous 10 version while Huawei Nova 9 has Android 11 version.
Huawei Nova 9 features a screen that's very similar to the Motorola edge one, because although the Huawei Nova 9 has a little smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 1080 x 2340px resolution, it also counts with a little higher amount of pixels in each inch in the display. Motorola edge has much more storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei Nova 9, because it has an external SD slot that allows up to 1000 GB and more internal memory capacity.
The Huawei Nova 9 has just a little better performance than Motorola edge, and although they both have 8 cores, the Huawei Nova 9 also has 2 GB more RAM. Motorola edge captures a bit better photos and videos than Huawei Nova 9, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Motorola edge also has a bigger diafragm aperture and a back camera with lot more mega pixels.
The Motorola edge counts with just a little bit longer battery performance than Huawei Nova 9, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity.
