Comparison review
Motorola edge is better than the Huawei P20 Pro, getting a general score of 89.6 against 81.4. Both of these devices have the same Android 10 operating system, so both of them should provide you all the same OS features. Although Motorola edge is much newer than Huawei P20 Pro, it's somewhat thicker and a little heavier.
The Huawei P20 Pro counts with a little sharper display than Motorola edge, because although it has a bit smaller display and a little lower resolution of 1080 x 2240px, it also counts with a bit more pixels per display inch. Huawei P20 Pro's processor is just as good as Motorola edge's processor, both of them have a Octa-Core processor and 6 GB of RAM.
Motorola edge features a much bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Huawei P20 Pro, because it has a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 1000 GB and 256 GB internal storage capacity. Motorola edge counts with a little longer battery life than Huawei P20 Pro, because it has a 4500mAh battery size instead of 4000mAh.
The Motorola edge takes just a bit better photographs and videos than Huawei P20 Pro, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates, the same diafragm aperture and the same (4K) video quality, the Motorola edge also has a back facing camera with way more megapixels and a bigger sensor providing a higher image quality.
The Motorola edge costs a lot more than Huawei P20 Pro, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
