Comparison review
The Motorola edge has a general score of 89.6, which is a little bit better than Huawei P40's 86.4 score. Despite being the best cellphone in this comparison review, Motorola edge is a thicker and just a bit heavier cellphone than Huawei P40. Both phones in our current comparison have the same Android 10 OS (Operating System).
The Huawei P40 has just a bit better display than Motorola edge, because although it has a bit smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 2340, the Huawei P40 also counts with a little greater display pixel density. Motorola edge has a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than Huawei P40, because it has 256 GB internal memory capacity and a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 1000 GB.
Huawei P40 features a bit more powerful processing unit than Motorola edge. They have 8 processing cores and 6 GB of RAM memory. Huawei P40 has a slightly better camera than Motorola edge, because although it has a worse 3840x2160 video definition, a lot worse 50 mega pixels resolution back camera and a tinier diafragm aperture which is not so good for low light photography, it also counts with a much larger back-facing camera sensor taking way higher quality photographs.
Motorola edge features just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Huawei P40, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
Although Motorola edge is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Huawei P40, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Huawei P40. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Motorola edge, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Huawei P40, giving up a couple specs and features.
