Motorola edge is much better than Huawei P40 Lite, having a score of 89.6 against 79.5. Both of these devices have the same Android 10 OS (operating system), so they should give all the same OS features. Despite being the best we compare here, we must tell that it's also a a little heavier and a little bit thicker phone.
Motorola edge features just a little better hardware performance than Huawei P40 Lite. Both have the same RAM memory amount and 8 processing cores. Huawei P40 Lite counts with a little bit better screen than Motorola edge, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2310px and a little smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit better pixel density.
Motorola edge counts with a superior memory capacity to store more games and applications than Huawei P40 Lite, because it has more internal storage and a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 1000 GB. The Motorola edge features just a little bit longer battery performance than Huawei P40 Lite, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity.
Motorola edge features a better camera than Huawei P40 Lite, and although they both have a same size diafragm aperture, the Motorola edge also has a way better 64 MP resolution back facing camera, a larger back camera sensor and a way higher 3840x2160 video definition.
Although Motorola edge is a better device, it is way more expensive than Huawei P40 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Huawei P40 Lite. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Motorola edge, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Huawei P40 Lite, resigning a couple features and specs.
