Comparison review
The Motorola edge is a bit better than Huawei P40 Pro, having an 89.6 score against 88.2. Even though Motorola edge and Huawei P40 Pro were released only a few months apart, the Motorola edge design is lighter but just a bit thicker. These devices have the same Android 10 OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't see any difference in that aspect.
The Huawei P40 Pro has a slightly better looking display than Motorola edge, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit higher count of pixels in each inch in the screen and a slightly better 1200 x 2640 resolution. Motorola edge counts with a way bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Huawei P40 Pro, because it has a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 1000 GB and 256 GB internal memory.
Huawei P40 Pro counts with a little faster CPU than Motorola edge, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei P40 Pro also has a larger amount of RAM memory. The Motorola edge features just a little bit longer battery life than Huawei P40 Pro, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 4200mAh.
Huawei P40 Pro has a little bit better camera than Motorola edge, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 video definition, a smaller diafragm aperture which is not good for taking images or videos in poorly lited situations and a much worse resolution camera in the back, it also counts with a much bigger sensor capturing way better quality videos and photos.
